Littleton Chambers is seeking an organised, enthusiastic and proactive individual to join their marketing team as a Marketing Assistant. This is an excellent entry level opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in marketing within a professional services environment.
The Role
Working closely with the Marketing Manager and wider Chambers team, the Marketing Assistant will provide day to day support across marketing, events, digital content and administration. The role offers a broad range of responsibilities and hands on experience across all aspects of Chambers’ marketing activity.
Areas of Responsibility
- Assisting with the planning, organisation and delivery of internal and external events, including seminars, webinars, conferences, client dinners and receptions
- Supporting venue research, site visits and event logistics
- Attending events to ensure the smooth running of logistics
- Drafting and scheduling content for the Chambers website and social media channels
- Assisting with the creation of marketing materials using tools such as InDesign, Canva and Photoshop
- Supporting video marketing activity, including filming and editing content for digital platforms
- Maintaining and updating the Chambers contacts database (LEX), ensuring accuracy and compliance, sending communications, managing bounce backs, collating responses
- Collating the information for Directory and Awards Submissions
- Providing general marketing administration support to the team
- Supporting in the production and delivery of marketing collateral – ensuring chambers marketing house style guidelines are adhered to
- Assisting with reception cover and wider administrative support when required
The Ideal Candidate
You will be organised, adaptable and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in marketing and communications.
You will be able to demonstrate:
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills and high attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills and the confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues, members and external contacts
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach, with creativity and initiative
- Proficient use of Microsoft office products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams webinar and Excel
- A good working knowledge of software relevant to the role are desirable but not essential (training will be given) including Client relationship management systems, website content management systems (WordPress), Canva, InDesign and Photoshop
- Experience of video editing software desirable
- An interest in marketing within a professional or legal services environment (prior experience is helpful but not essential)
